Philadelphia Family Portraits – The Farkas

Right before the holidays I met with the Farkas family. They wanted to capture some beautiful portraits right before their new family addition. And no, I’m not talking about their house. One of the best moments was when I asked L :

Me – “I heard you will be a big sister. Did you pick a name for him yet?”
L – “Yes”
Me – “Would you tell me his name?”
L – “My brother”

Well, how can you argue with that?

I first met Aimee a few years back when I photographed her mom’s wedding. Time passes fast. I was really honored to photograph her maternity session (and later her son). Here are a couple of images for your enjoyment.

“THE PERFECT 10″ COLLECTION IS HERE

After months of research and testing, I am pleased to officially announce “The Perfect 10″ collection. If you appreciate fine art, this collection is for you.

Why 10? Because the number ten signifies completeness and perfection. You can find it all around you in nature and it’s been used throughout history (10 Commandments, people have 10 fingers, “10″ the movie :-) …)

The collection includes 10 first edition matted prints. They are printed by hand by a master printer on silver gelatin paper. Each print will have an authenticity seal on the back that guarantees the originality of it and will be matted on museum archival mats. The prints will be presented in a beautiful black gallery portfolio box.

A 20 image album is also included. The album can be designed as a fine art album, as a sign in album or photographic paper. There are three beautiful covers available: Silk, Aluminum and Lucite.

I will personally photograph the session and it will be captured both on film and digital. The film will be developed by hand by yours truly, for a customized look and ensuring a unique output. The entire process is highly customized and hand made, resulting in beautiful finish products.

Maternity Pictures – Claudia & Sergio

Two years ago I had the pleasure of photographing Claudia and Sergio’s wedding. They had a beautiful multicultural wedding (Claudia is Romanian and Sergio is Portuguese) at the DoubleTree hotel in Philadelphia. We had a lot of fun and we got some great images (I will dig up some pictures and post them later); in fact, they are featured in one of my sample albums.

Last week we did a maternity session at the gallery so they have a record of the beginning of a new family. They already decided that they will do a “A year in the life” session, so stay tuned for more pictures to come in the months ahead when you will have the chance to meet …. well, you will have to come back and find out.
