  • Welcome to Jean Valentin Photography

Welcome to Jean Valentin Photography. We have been creating beautiful memories for brides and families in Philadelphia area for over 13 years. We hope you enjoy looking through our past images. We look forward to hearing from you to create your new memories and further family heirlooms.

Last year I photographed Grace , Caitlin’s big sister. This year they welcomed into their family beautiful baby Caitlin. If you have kids, you know how much they change from day to day when they are newborns. Here are some images for your enjoyment:

And, of course, we had to have a picture with all the ladies …

Thank you again Emily for allowing me to capture your beautiful family.

“Funny, outgoing” – that’s how his mom described him, and that’s the perfect description. You wouldn’t know it from the serious pictures I took of him for his First Communion. Wait until further down when you see the “behind the scenes” outtakes.

While I was turned with the back at him … he was showcasing his Michael Jackson moves, thinking I don’t see him ….

Busted! … he saw that was caught in the act 🙂

Welcome to the second part of Marisa and David’s beautiful wedding. They had the reception at the Atrium at The Curtis Center in Philadelphia.

Venue – Atrium at Curtis Center
Caterer – Cescaphe Event Group
DJ – Johnny Looch

The Curtis Center is a unique venue in Philadelphia. It has a very open feeling and the waterfall inside adds a beautiful touch to the atmosphere.

No matter which location you select, Cescaphe Event group will always have a top notch food and presentation.

And the entrance of the bridal party was a bit different … The Harlem Shake … David and Marisa edition …

Culminating with a shower of white rose petals.

The parent dances are always filled with emotions …

And since Marisa is like a daughter to David’s parents … they had a special dance …

This was the first time I worked with Johnny and I hope is not the last. He was keeping everybody on the dance floor all night long.

And, of course, a portrait of the newly married couple.

This was my first wedding of the season and it couldn’t start any better. A gorgeous couple, a gorgeous day and a beautiful place to celebrate.

As usual, we started with the guys. When I walked in, I was greeted by a bundle of energy … aka, the ring bearer.

And I loved how everybody had their own drink 🙂

Waiting for David were a few things from Marisa. She wrote him a touching letter as well as give him a recording (based on his smile, he liked the message :-), whatever that was ). And the watch was a very nice touch.

All the guys for a toast around the pool table.

Afterwards, we went to Marisa’s house.

A little surprise from David was waiting for her as well. As you can see from mom’s reaction, David wrote a very moving letter. Not only she received a matching watch (they didn’t coordinate it; it just shows how much they think alike), David made an album with images from the very first day they met.

Time to get ready…

And dad was speechless as she walked down the stairs…

And the beautiful flower girl …

Last minute touches before the big moment …

And it’s only fitting that we end with a portrait of the beautiful bride.

If you follow us on Facebook, you saw the link to Huffington Post I posted about the value of having an album. The wedding album is the first record of your brand new family. It’s value increases with time and the best part: it will not become obsolete like the digital media does.

Here are some images of Julia and Rich’s wedding album. They had a beautiful wedding last year at Cescaphe Ballroom in Philadelphia. Enjoy!
